On September 13, 2024, several teams showcased their skills in Jalandhar, Punjab, during the 14th Hockey India Junior Men Championship. Odisha, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Bengal emerged victorious in their respective matches, while Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand ended their game in a draw.

Odisha vs. Arunachal

The Hockey Association of Odisha triumphed over Hockey Arunachal with a score of 8-0. Pratap Toppo and Deepak Pradhan each scored two goals, while Wison Xaxa, Karan Lakra, Premdayal Giri, and Deonath Nanwar added one goal each.

Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu vs. Assam

Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu Hockey defeated Assam Hockey 11-0. Pramod Pal was the standout player, scoring six goals. Mohan Krishna, Akash Gond, Yadav Ghanshyam, and Captain Rudranshu Maurya also contributed to the victory.

Andhra Pradesh vs. Kerala

Hockey Andhra Pradesh won against Kerala Hockey with a score of 3-1. Sai Kumar Metta, Nandiminto Akhil Venkat, and Dodium Subramanyam Hemanth Kumar scored for Andhra Pradesh, while Captain Muhammed Aslam scored the only goal for Kerala.

Karnataka vs. Delhi

Hockey Karnataka secured a 6-1 win over Delhi Hockey. Captain Sunil PB scored a hat-trick, with Jadhav Pavan Kesu, Dhruva Bs, and Aryan Uthappa Mt also scoring. Sunil Kumar scored the consolation goal for Delhi.

Bengal vs. Gujarat

Hockey Bengal defeated Hockey Gujarat 3-0. Captain Rohit Kujur, Vivek Kumar Singh, and Md Sakib Ali each scored a goal for Bengal.

Tamil Nadu vs. Jharkhand

The final match of the day ended in a 1-1 draw between the Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu and Hockey Jharkhand. Roshan Ekka scored for Jharkhand, while Anand Y equalized for Tamil Nadu.
