After five days of intense competition in Bengaluru, eight teams have advanced to the knockout rounds of the 63rd Subroto Cup Sub-Junior Boys International Football Tournament. The quarterfinals will be held at the ASC Centre on Sunday.

Quarterfinal 1

Army Boys Sports Company, Bengaluru (Group A) vs. Nongjri Presbyterian Secondary School, Meghalaya (Group B)

Army Boys Sports Company secured their spot by winning a coin toss after tying on points and goal difference with NNMHSS Chelembra, Kerala. Nongjri Presbyterian Secondary School advanced by winning all their group games, including an 8-0 victory over Gyanmata High School.

Quarterfinal 2

Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (Group C) vs. Mother’s Pride Public School, Himachal Pradesh (Group D)

Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan dominated Group C, winning all their matches, including a 13-0 win over Hyderabad Public School. Mother’s Pride Public School advanced with a superior goal difference despite a loss in their final group match.

Quarterfinal 3

Major Dhyan Chand Sports College, Uttar Pradesh (Group E) vs. Manikpara Vivekananda Vidyapeeth, West Bengal (Group F)

Major Dhyan Chand Sports College topped Group E with a 4-0 win over SFS Higher Secondary School, Nagaland. Manikpara Vivekananda Vidyapeeth dominated Group F, finishing with a 6-1 victory over Govt. Boys Senior Secondary School, Tamil Nadu.

Quarterfinal 4

St. Stephen’s School, Chandigarh (Group G) vs. Infocus India Public School, West Bengal (Group H)

St. Stephen’s School secured their spot with a goalless draw against Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Goa. Infocus India Public School advanced by winning Group H with a 2-0 victory over Govt. Chawngfinga Middle School, Mizoram.
