EAM Jaishankar Strengthens India-Germany Relations in Berlin

Additionally, Jaishankar met with Michael Roth, MP and Chairperson of the Deutscher Bundestag Committee on Foreign Affairs. They discussed current global challenges and potential new collaborations between India and Germany. Earlier in his visit, Jaishankar met with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock. They discussed various topics, including Ukraine, Gaza, and the Indo-Pacific region. They also reviewed the India-Germany Strategic Partnership, focusing on trade, investment, green and sustainable development, skilled workers’ mobility, technology, and defense and security. Jaishankar looks forward to welcoming Baerbock in India for the 7th Intergovernmental Consultations.
