Sanhati Club: A Major Attraction

The Sanhati Club pandal stood out as a major attraction this year, known for its elaborate decorations and cultural activities. Designed with a substantial budget, the pandal featured intricate artistic designs that captivated visitors. The Puja Committee organized various cultural events and performances, making it a hub of festive celebrations.

Dipak Majumder, Secretary of the Sanhati Club, emphasized the tradition of celebrating culture and organizing performances from different states. He expressed joy at the large gathering of people who came from afar to celebrate Durga Puja, highlighting the excitement and happiness it brings.

Community Spirit and Excitement

Veteran journalist Sanit Debroy noted the excitement that the Puja brings to Agartala, transforming it into a lively ‘Utsav nagri.’ He praised the police for maintaining law and order and hoped the festive spirit would continue.

Visitor Pritam Chakraborty shared his happiness about celebrating Asthami with his family, noting the special significance of the occasion during Durga Puja.

This year, approximately 900 pandals have been registered for the celebrations across Agartala and its municipal areas, many of which are large-scale and high-budget, showcasing intricate designs and creative concepts.
