Dubai South and INDU Kishore Logistics Begin New Facility Construction
Dubai South, a major urban development in the UAE focusing on aviation, logistics, and real estate, has partnered with INDU Kishore Logistics to start building a new logistics facility. This project is part of their plan to become a leader in multiple industries. The groundbreaking event was attended by Abdul Basit Al Marzouqi, Deputy CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South, and Kishore Lakhani, Chairman of INDU Group, along with other senior executives.
The new facility will cover about 23,000 square meters and can store up to 75,000 pallets. It is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2025. The facility will use data-driven automation to handle spare parts of all sizes efficiently, ensuring quick processing and smooth shipment flow.
Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South, expressed his excitement about the project, stating that it will add value to the logistics sector and help Dubai South support the government’s vision of making Dubai a global logistics hub. He assured full support for INDU Kishore Logistics in their expansion efforts.
Kush Lakhani, Managing Partner at INDU Kishore Logistics, highlighted that the investment is driven by increased demand in the automotive and aerospace sectors. He also mentioned the expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport as a timely opportunity and expressed gratitude for the support from Dubai South.
