Dubai Chamber of Commerce Concludes Successful Sustainability Week 2024
Dubai Chamber of Commerce, part of Dubai Chambers, wrapped up Sustainability Week 2024 with 526 business community representatives participating. The event, held from October 7th to 11th, focused on digitisation and artificial intelligence in sustainable business practices.
Launch of Digital Training Platform
During the week, the chamber introduced a digital training platform to educate local businesses on sustainability and ESG standards. The platform offers premium online courses, certified modules, video content, and virtual sessions with expert trainers, emphasizing AI and digital solutions for sustainability.
ESG Label Awards
The chamber awarded the Dubai Chamber of Commerce ESG Label to 27 companies excelling in sustainable practices.
Seminars and Forums
Events included a seminar on AI and digital technologies’ impact on sustainability, discussing digital solutions for sustainable development goals, supply chain efficiency, and recycling. A forum explored digital strategies for the circular economy, featuring simulations and discussions on AI, IoT, and big data analytics for resource efficiency and waste reduction.
Arabia CSR and Sustainability Forum
The 12th Arabia CSR and Sustainability Forum, under the theme ‘Sustainable Prosperity: Reorienting for a Balanced Future,’ was hosted by the chamber and organised by the Arabia CSR Network under the Ministry of Economy’s patronage.
