Dubai Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA), hosted a seminar to highlight the ‘Parent-friendly Label’ programme. The event aimed to encourage private sector participation to promote a healthy work-life balance.

The seminar was attended by 110 participants from 66 companies. The Parent-friendly Label programme, launched by the ECA, recognizes organizations that provide a positive environment for parents to balance work, family, and childcare.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, emphasized the importance of parent-friendly practices for community well-being and Dubai’s attractiveness to global talent. He stated, “The Parent-friendly Label programme is crucial for employee happiness and well-being, enhancing institutional productivity and economic development in the UAE.”

Sana Mohamed Suhail, Director General of the ECA, highlighted the programme’s expansion to include organizations across the UAE. She noted that collaboration with Dubai Chambers would raise awareness about the programme’s benefits for working parents.

The programme, designed in line with international best practices, helps working parents balance their responsibilities, ensuring their children receive the best care. Flexible workplace policies enhance employee well-being, family ties, and productivity, making workplaces more attractive to top talent.
