Drone Attack on Netanyahu’s Home: Israeli PM Warns Hezbollah and Iran

In Tel Aviv, Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stern warning to Hezbollah, a group backed by Iran, after a drone from Lebanon targeted his private residence. The attack occurred in the Israeli town of Caesarea, but fortunately, Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, were not at home. Israel’s air defenses successfully intercepted two other drones launched from Lebanon, causing alarms to sound in Tel Aviv.

Netanyahu took to social media to express his determination, stating, “The attempt by Iran’s proxy Hezbollah to assassinate me and my wife today was a grave mistake. This will not deter me or the State of Israel from continuing our just war against our enemies in order to secure our future.” He emphasized that anyone attempting to harm Israeli citizens would face severe consequences.

The Prime Minister assured that Israel would persist in its efforts to eliminate terrorists and those who support them. He also promised to bring back hostages from Gaza and ensure the safety of citizens living near the Northern border. Netanyahu declared, “Israel is determined to achieve all our war objectives and change the security reality in our region for generations to come.”

Addressing the people of Gaza, Netanyahu mentioned that the conflict could end swiftly if Hamas agrees to disarm and release hostages. He shared a video message stating, “Yahya Sinwar is dead. He was killed in Rafah by the brave soldiers of the Israeli defense forces. While this is not the end of the war in Gaza, it’s the beginning of the end. To the people of Gaza, I have a simple message – this war can end tomorrow. It can end if Hamas lays down its arms and returns our hostages.”
