Dr. Madan Mohan Tripathi Inaugurates NIELIT Delhi’s Job Fair ‘Yuva Rojgar Mela’
The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) organized the ‘Yuva Rojgar Mela’ job fair at its Delhi office on Pankha Road, Janakpuri, New Delhi. The event aimed to provide placement opportunities for NIELIT’s alumni and students.
Dr. Madan Mohan Tripathi, Vice Chancellor of NIELIT, inaugurated the event by lighting the inaugural lamp and addressing the attendees. He highlighted the importance of job fairs in empowering skilled students to secure fulfilling careers and contribute to economic growth. Dr. Tripathi noted that last year, NIELIT’s job fairs across India resulted in at least 6,000 offer letters, with expectations for even more this year.
More than 1300 candidates registered for the job fair, with 16 companies shortlisting candidates for over 1000 job openings. Companies like Tech Mahindra, PAYTM, Axis Bank, and others set up placement desks at the event.
An informative session on ‘Soft Skills–CV Building’ was conducted by Mohammad Junaid, Assistant Manager at Digital India Corporation, MeitY, for the participants.
NIELIT has established itself as a premier institution in information, electronics, and communication technology (IECT) and emerging technologies. The ‘Yuva Rojgar Mela’ reflects NIELIT’s commitment to supporting its students through capacity building, skill development, and placement support.
