Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu recently claimed that substandard ingredients were used in the preparation of Tirupati laddus during the previous Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) government. This sparked a controversy, with various leaders demanding a thorough investigation.

Calls for Fast-Track Inquiry

Congress leader Pawan Khera also called for a fast-track inquiry into the alleged use of animal fat in the prasadam for Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple in Tirupati. He emphasized the need for strict punishment for those found guilty to maintain the faith of devotees.

Advocate’s Allegations

Advocate K Karuna Sagar alleged that the previous YSRCP government used animal fat in the Laddu Prasadam, calling it an attack on Hindu sentiments and a conspiracy. He was shocked by lab reports confirming the presence of beef, pork, and fish oil in the ghee used for the laddus.

Deputy Chief Minister’s Claims

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan claimed that the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) board was altered for political gain by the previous government. He alleged that worship protocols were changed, and over 300 temples were desecrated under YSRCP’s rule. He also mentioned that Ayodhya received contaminated laddus from TTD during this period.
