New Delhi, India – Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Congress leader Digvijay Singh criticized the BJP government, alleging multiple scams since they came to power. Singh accused the Prime Minister of remaining silent on these issues.

Recruitment Scams

Singh highlighted recruitment scams in states like Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh under BJP rule. He questioned the silence of the RSS and the Prime Minister on these matters.

NEET Examination Controversy

Singh also criticized Pradeep Kumar Joshi, Chairman of the National Testing Agency (NTA), for allegedly lying about the NEET examination paper leak. He called for the resignation of the HRD Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, for not taking action against Joshi.

Supreme Court Involvement

The Supreme Court has declined to halt the NEET-UG 2024 counselling process despite allegations of paper leaks. The court has issued notices to the NTA and the Centre, and has scheduled a hearing for July 8. The NEET-UG 2024 exam, conducted on May 5, faced protests due to irregularities, with 67 students achieving perfect scores. The court has allowed over 1,500 students to retake the exam on June 23.

Grace Marks Controversy

The NTA informed the Supreme Court that the scorecards of 1,563 candidates who received grace marks would be cancelled, offering them a chance to retake the exam or forgo the compensatory marks.
