On October 15, Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan will announce the establishment of three AI Centres of Excellence in New Delhi. These centres will focus on Healthcare, Agriculture, and Sustainable Cities. The initiative, part of the “Viksit Bharat” vision, aims to foster an effective AI ecosystem in India.

The announcement aligns with the “Make AI in India and Make AI work for India” vision outlined in the 2023-24 Budget.
