New Police Vehicles Introduced

Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab, Gaurav Yadav, has taken a significant step to enhance public safety in Ludhiana by introducing 14 new vehicles for the Police Control Room (PCR). These vehicles were funded through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, increasing the total PCR fleet to 71 vehicles.

Engagement with Local Industrialists

DGP Yadav met with local industrialists to discuss law and order concerns. He emphasized Ludhiana’s status as an industrial hub and the commitment to making it the safest city in Punjab. Businessmen SC Ralhan and Neeraj Satija praised the DGP’s efforts in organizing public gatherings and conducting surprise inspections to understand ground-level situations.

Enhancing Surveillance and Cybersecurity

The DGP assured industrialists of improved CCTV surveillance, especially in Industrial Focal Points. He advised using the ‘Golden Hour’ to report cyber frauds immediately at the ‘1930 Cyber Helpline’ to help freeze funds moved by fraudsters.

Visit to DAV Police Public School

DGP Yadav visited the DAV Police Public School, encouraging students to focus on their studies and highlighting the importance of youth in community engagement. He shared tips for competitive exams like UPSC and wished students success in their board exams.

During his visit, DGP Yadav inspected the Kohara Naka point and engaged with police officers, reviewing special checkpoints and encouraging high standards of professionalism.
