Despite continuous rain, Shri Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand saw a large number of devotees on the second Monday of the Shravan month. Pilgrims performed special rituals and prayers for Lord Kedarnath.

Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee President Ajendra Ajay reported that over nineteen and a half lakh pilgrims have visited, with a record eleven and a quarter lakh at Shri Kedarnath Dham. He advised pilgrims to consider weather conditions for a safe journey.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also visited, offering prayers and inspecting reconstruction work led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He met with devotees and reviewed arrangements for the Char Dham Yatra.
