Devda’s Statement

Devda expressed gratitude to the Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat Police for busting a major drug operation. He emphasized that he has no ties with criminals and criticized Congress for making baseless allegations. Devda stated, “The law will take its course. We do not support the accused, and strict action must be taken against them.”

BJP’s Response

BJP state chief VD Sharma also dismissed the allegations, stating the accused had no ties to the party. He praised the police for their efforts and accused Congress of negative politics.

Congress’s Allegations

The Congress party shared a photo of Devda with the accused, demanding his resignation. They claimed the state government was protecting the accused. Madhya Pradesh Congress Chief Jitu Patwari called for Devda’s resignation to send a message against protecting drug mafias.

Drug Seizure Details

The Gujarat ATS, in coordination with Mandsaur police, arrested Harish Anjna in connection with the drug seizure in Bhopal. Anjna was involved in poppy husk-related crimes. The drugs, worth Rs 1,814 crore, were seized from a factory in Bhopal, and further investigations are ongoing.
