Delhi’s Winter Action Plan: Gopal Rai’s Meeting to Fight Pollution
Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai held a high-level meeting with the Environment Department and Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) officials to prepare a winter action plan against air pollution in Delhi.

Upcoming Joint Action Plan
A joint action plan will be developed with 33 departments on September 5. Senior officials from various agencies, including MCD, NDMC, Cantonment Board, DDA, CPWD, PWD, Traffic Police, Transport Department, Environment Department, DPCC, and Development Department, will attend the meeting.
Implementation and Upgrades
The plan includes upgrading the Green War Room and Green Delhi App to improve communication and timely action on complaints. Efforts will also be made to increase green areas and control firecracker use. The proper implementation of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) will also be discussed.
