Delhi University Students’ Union Elections Begin Amidst Court Conditions
The Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections started on Friday after the Delhi High Court allowed the university to proceed with conditions. Voting times are split between morning and evening shifts.
The court mandated that vote counting can only occur after campaign materials are removed. NSUI’s Varun Choudhary urged students to vote, while ABVP’s Yagywalkya Shukla accused NSUI of hooliganism. In the previous election, ABVP won three out of four central panel seats.
