New Delhi [India], August 8: As Independence Day approaches, Delhi Police has ramped up security and displayed posters of terrorists associated with Al Qaeda and Khalistan across the city. They are urging citizens to assist in capturing these terrorists, offering rewards and ensuring informants’ anonymity.

Sub-inspector Komal Shakya, in charge of the Khan Market all-women police booth, stated that the initiative aims to raise public awareness. The posters feature fifteen terrorists, six of whom are linked to Al Qaeda.

In a similar effort, Punjab Police conducted spot searches at bus stands statewide on Tuesday. Directed by Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav, the operation involved police teams and sniffer dogs, supervised by Special DGP Arpit Shukla.

Additionally, Delhi Police cracked down on the illegal sale of Chinese Manjha, seizing a large quantity from a house in Fayaz Ganj, Azad Market, and arresting one individual.
