Delhi Police Interrogates Gangster Hashim Baba Over Nadir Shah’s Murder

The Delhi Police special cell has brought in gangster Hashim Baba for questioning in connection to the murder of Nadir Shah. Hashim Baba was taken from Tihar jail on a production warrant.

Sources indicate that Hashim Baba and his associates planned the murder from inside the jail, despite a crackdown on mobile phone use after the killing of Sidhu Mosewala. Hashim Baba, who is close to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, will also be interrogated about Lawrence’s threat to businessman Kunal Chhabra.

Kunal Chhabra, a close aide of Nadir Shah, was threatened by Lawrence Bishnoi via a video call from jail. The investigation is ongoing to determine Lawrence’s location during the call. The Special Cell will question Hashim Baba on how he orchestrated the murder from inside the jail during his 7-day custody.

Recently, the Delhi Police imposed the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) on Hashim Baba and eight other gang members for their continuous involvement in criminal activities. Hashim Baba has multiple cases against him, including murder conspiracy, extortion, and arms violations. He has been in Tihar jail since 2020. Other gang members facing MCOCA charges include Rashid Cablewala, Sachin Golu, Sohail, and Shahrukh.
