Delhi Police Find Illegal Weapons with Property Dealer Junaid Khan in Wazirabad

The Delhi Police have recovered illegal firearms and cash from Junaid Khan, a 33-year-old property dealer in Wazirabad Village. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided his location and seized a revolver with five cartridges (1 cartridge of 8 mm, 1 cartridge of 7.65, and 3 cartridges of 6.35) along with Rs 4,09,355 in cash.

A case under sections of the Arms Act has been registered at the Wazirabad police station. The police are investigating the source of the weapons and the cash.

Earlier this year, the Delhi police special staff team arrested another individual in the North-East District, recovering 8 semi-automatic pistols and 80 live cartridges. This arrest was made ahead of the general elections, based on a tip-off about a criminal supplying illegal firearms in the area.
