Delhi Police Arrests Nadeem and Fazeel for Illegal Weapon Supply in North East Delhi
The Delhi Crime Branch has successfully apprehended two individuals, Nadeem and Fazeel, for their involvement in an illegal weapon supply syndicate in North East Delhi. Both are residents of Seelampur. The arrest followed a raid conducted on November 4 in Brahmpuri, Seelampur, where the police seized three pistols, four magazines, and 24 live cartridges.
Earlier, on September 18, the Crime Branch had registered a case after seizing illegal firearms from Sameer Ahmad and Sahil, who revealed during interrogation that they sourced the weapons from Nadeem and Fazeel. This led to further investigations and the arrest of Suhaib, another individual involved in the trade.
Nadeem and Fazeel admitted to procuring firearms from Rashid, a resident of Jafrabad. Nadeem has a history of similar offenses, and both have been supplying weapons for the past six months. Nadeem, who studied up to Class 10, supplied weapons on demand, while Fazeel is pursuing a degree from IGNOU.
