Delhi Police Arrests Fraudster Lakku Akhileshwar Reddy for Online Job Scam

New Delhi [India], July 14: Delhi Police arrested a fraudster who tricked people into participating in simple online tasks with promises of earning a lot of money. The complaint was filed by Akshay Kumar Singh from Dwarka, who received a message on November 23 about a part-time job. He was asked to create an account on a website to buy and sell cryptocurrency and to complete prepaid tasks. Singh invested Rs 20,16,640 but was cheated out of his money.

The Cyber Police in Dwarka registered an FIR and began investigating. They found that the bank accounts used in the scam were registered to M/S HS1 Enterprises & Co in Telangana. The police tracked down and arrested Lakku Akhileshwar Reddy on July 11. Another person, Shiva, was also involved but has not yet been caught.

Reddy and Shiva sent messages offering part-time jobs and tasks like reviewing restaurants. They lured victims by sending small amounts of money and then asked them to deposit larger sums with promises of high returns, which were never paid back. Reddy was presented before the First Class Judicial Magistrate in Dwarka Court, Delhi. The investigation is ongoing.
