Delhi Police Arrests Four Officers for Fake Hotel Raid in Shakarpur

The Delhi Police on Friday arrested four officers from Laxmi Nagar Police Station for conducting a fake raid at a hotel room in Shakarpur, New Delhi. The officers, including Inspector Prakash Roy, were charged under sections 420, 388, and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

The raid took place on May 29 without prior authorization, raising suspicions. An inquiry by the Assistant Commissioner of Police of the East District led to the registration of a case. The investigation confirmed the involvement of the officers, who were subsequently arrested. They are scheduled to appear in court on Saturday.
