Delhi Minister Atishi Criticizes BJP and Defends Teachers’ Rights

Delhi Minister and AAP leader Atishi launched a strong criticism against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stating that it would be a significant achievement for them to win even a single seat in the 2025 Delhi Legislative Assembly election. She highlighted the BJP’s actions, such as stopping Delhi’s water supply and attempting to undermine government schools.

Atishi expressed confidence that the BJP would struggle in the upcoming elections due to their continuous scams and conspiracies against the people of Delhi. She emphasized that the BJP’s actions have been detrimental to the city’s welfare.

In response to Delhi Lt Governor VK Saxena’s directive to halt the transfer of 5,000 government school teachers, Atishi, who is also the Education Minister, voiced strong opposition to any attempts to hinder Delhi’s education progress. She explained that these teachers have played a crucial role in transforming government schools over the past decade, making them better than private schools.

Atishi welcomed the halt of the teacher transfers and reiterated the AAP’s commitment to fighting for teachers’ rights and the education of Delhi’s children. She assured that the party would continue to oppose any future attempts to disrupt the education system in Delhi.
