Delhi High Court Hosts Workshop on Deaf-Blindness Led by Zamir Dhale
The Accessibility Committee of the Delhi High Court, headed by Justice Rajiv Shakdher, organized a workshop on sensitizing legal professionals about deaf-blindness. The event took place at the High Court of Delhi.
Understanding Deaf-Blindness
Deaf-blindness is a rare disability where a person cannot see or hear. Zamir Dhale, who is deaf-blind and the founder of SEDB India, conducted the workshop. He was assisted by his colleague Lion Sunil Abbas.

The workshop was attended by judicial officers, advocates, and court officials. Zamir Dhale taught participants how to communicate using tactile sign language. He also shared his life journey and the challenges he has faced.
