Delhi High Court Allows Ashneer Grover and Wife to Travel to UK and Doha

The Delhi High Court has granted permission to former BharatPe MD Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain Grover to travel to Doha and the United Kingdom. This decision came after they challenged a Look Out Circular (LOC) issued by the Economic Offence Wing (EOW).

Justice Sanjeev Narula approved their travel plans after considering their plea. The Grovers sought permission to travel to the United Kingdom from September 28 to October 7 and to Doha from October 17 to 20. Ashneer Grover is scheduled to speak at events in both the UK and Doha.

The plea was opposed by advocate Rishikesh Kumar, Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) for Delhi Police. The couple had previously been granted permission to travel to the USA. The Delhi Police’s EOW is investigating a case related to an alleged fraud of Rs. 81 crores.
