Delhi Crime Branch Seizes 120 kg of Marijuana and Arrests Two Gang Members Near Narela

The Delhi Crime Branch successfully seized over 120 kg of marijuana and arrested two members of an interstate drug trafficking gang near Narela on Monday. The operation was initiated based on inputs about a consignment of narcotics being transported to the Delhi-NCR area from Odisha.

Through field sources and technical analysis, it was discovered that the drugs were hidden in a secret compartment of a truck. The Crime Branch monitored the phone of a suspected gang member and set a trap near Smriti Park, Sector A-1 in Narela.

During the bust, 120 kg of marijuana was found in six plastic bags hidden in the truck. The arrested individuals, Sahab Singh and Pradeep Kumar, are residents of Sonipat, Haryana. A case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, and further investigation is underway.
