The fake certificate was allegedly used by Bobi to contest the 2022 MCD election for a reserved SC women’s seat in Sultanpuri ward. The court noted that Bobi did not cooperate with the investigation, failing to provide necessary documents despite interim protection from arrest.

However, the court found the need for further investigation, as Bobi had not provided crucial documents related to the certificate’s issuance.
