Delhi CM Atishi Meets Prime Minister Modi

On Monday, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. During the meeting, Atishi expressed her desire for full cooperation from the central government to ensure the progress of the national capital. She shared her thoughts on social media, stating, “Called on Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji today. I look forward to full cooperation between the Centre and the Delhi government for the welfare and progress of our capital.”

Atishi’s New Role

Atishi recently took the oath as Delhi’s Chief Minister in September, following the resignation of Arvind Kejriwal. She is the third woman to hold this position in Delhi, after Sushma Swaraj and Sheila Dikshit.

Challenges and Developments

There have been ongoing differences between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government and Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena on various issues. Recently, the Delhi government’s Public Works Department (PWD) allocated the 6 Flag Staff Road bungalow, known as the CM House, to Chief Minister Atishi on October 11.
