Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Criticizes BJP and Announces Resignation

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a strong attack on the BJP-led central government, comparing it to British colonial rule. Speaking at the AAP office, Kejriwal shared his experiences in jail, where he read many books, including the Gita and ‘Bhagat Singh Ki Jail Diary’. He mentioned that even the British allowed Bhagat Singh’s letters to reach his people, unlike his own experience.

Kejriwal accused the BJP of framing him with false charges of corruption and theft. He stated that the central government imposed several laws to restrict his power. Kejriwal announced his resignation from the CM position, saying he will only return if the public votes for him in the upcoming elections. He emphasized that his honesty is the only thing he has earned in his life.

He also mentioned that the BJP’s goal was to break the Aam Aadmi Party by sending him to jail, but the party remained strong. Kejriwal was released from Tihar Jail after the Supreme Court granted him bail in a corruption case related to the alleged Delhi Excise Policy scam.
