Celebrating Vijaya Dashami with Soldiers
In Darjeeling, West Bengal, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized the importance of readiness among the armed forces. Speaking at Sukna Cantonment during the Vijaya Dashami festival, he performed ‘Shastra Puja’ and celebrated with Army soldiers. Singh highlighted the need for proactive preparedness in light of potential actions from neighboring countries.

Army Commanders’ Conference
On Friday, Singh addressed the Army Commanders’ Conference via video conference from Sukna Cantt due to bad weather. The conference discussed border security challenges, particularly along the LAC in Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh. The conference is divided into two phases, with the first phase in Gangtok and the second in Delhi.
