In New Delhi, the Patiala House Court has sent Deepak Boxer to jail after his arrest in an extortion case. He was involved in a shooting at a sweet shop in Nangloi to demand money. Judicial Magistrate Vaibhav Sharma made the decision after two days of police custody. Lawyers Virender Mual and Abhishek Thakur represented Deepak Boxer.

The Delhi police had requested custody to investigate illegal weapons in the Delhi NCR area. Other suspects, Jatin, Akash, Hariom, and Ankesh Lakra, were also presented in court and their custody was extended for 13 days.

On September 29, the Special Cell arrested two shooters from the Deepak Boxer-Gogi gang for the Nangloi incident. They were identified as Hari Om and Jatin, who fired shots at the sweet shop to extort money for jailed gangsters. The police recovered weapons and a motorcycle used in the crime.

The suspects were linked to gangsters Ankesh Lakra and Deepak Boxer, who are leading the Gogi Gang. They were also involved in a 2021 escape of a gangster from police custody. Jatin convinced Hari Om to join the shooting for easy money, leading to the attack on Roshan Sweet Corner.
