Deen Dayal Bairwa Represents Congress in Dausa By-Election Against BJP Ideology

Deen Dayal Bairwa Represents Congress in Dausa By-Election

In Dausa, Rajasthan, Deen Dayal Bairwa, the Congress candidate for the upcoming by-election, has described the election as a battle of ideologies between Congress and BJP. Bairwa criticized the BJP’s 10-month governance, accusing it of halting public welfare schemes initiated by the previous Congress government. He emphasized that the election is about contrasting ideologies, with BJP’s candidate representing their party’s views and Bairwa standing for Congress’s principles.

The by-election was triggered after Harish Chandra Meena, the former Congress MLA, won a seat in the Lok Sabha elections. Bairwa highlighted the water crisis in the constituency as a major issue, blaming the BJP for slowing down the Isarda project, which was sanctioned during Congress’s tenure. He pledged to prioritize the completion of this project to ensure water availability for Dausa residents.

Bairwa is among the seven candidates announced by Congress for the Rajasthan by-polls. Other candidates include Amit Ola, Aryaan Zubair, Kastoor Chand Meena, Ratan Choudhary, Reshma Meena, and Mahesh Roat. Govind Dotasra, Congress Rajasthan Chief, expressed his support for the candidates, hoping for a significant victory against the BJP.

The by-polls are scheduled for November 13, with vote counting on November 23. These elections are part of a larger by-election process across 48 constituencies in 15 states, including Assam, Bihar, and others. The Election Commission of India announced these by-elections, which will occur in two phases, alongside the Maharashtra and Jharkhand Assembly elections.
