In a thrilling T20 World Cup match, South Africa’s David Miller played a crucial role against England. Miller scored 43 runs from 28 balls, hitting 4 fours and 2 sixes, helping his team reach a total of 163/6.

Despite a strong start, South Africa faced some difficulties in the middle overs due to the pitch conditions at Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium. Miller commented, “Nice to get runs at the back end. We started well, went into a wobble in the middle but it’s due to the conditions. 160 is a good score. I hit it well but just a bit too flat. It started well (the pitch). Looked like it came on nicely. But it got slower and slower. It’s not too slow, it’s a good wicket.”

Quinton de Kock also contributed significantly with 65 runs from 38 balls. England’s Jofra Archer led the bowling attack, taking three wickets and giving away 40 runs in his four-over spell. Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid each took one wicket. England needs 164 runs to win the match.
