However, Miller took to Instagram to deny these claims, stating, “Contrary to some reports, I have NOT retired from T20 International cricket. I will continue to be available to play for the Proteas. The best is yet to come.”
Miller expressed his sadness over the loss, calling it a “tough pill to swallow.” In the final over, needing 16 runs from six balls, Miller attempted a big shot but was caught by Suryakumar Yadav, sealing the win for India.
