In New Delhi, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI), D Raja, expressed his support for Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s statements against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). During a public rally in Nuh, Haryana, Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP and RSS of “spreading hate” and “destroying the Constitution.”

D Raja stated that this stance is consistent with the CPI’s views, emphasizing that the BJP and RSS are engaging in divisive and sectarian politics that spread hatred and divide people. He also mentioned that the Constitution is under attack from these groups.

Rahul Gandhi highlighted the ideological battle between the Congress and the BJP, urging voters to support the Congress to remove the BJP from power. Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge also criticized the BJP for prioritizing the RSS agenda over citizens’ welfare, particularly neglecting farmers and soldiers.

Haryana is set to hold elections on October 5 to elect a 90-member state legislative assembly, with results expected on October 8.
