Ronanki Kurmanath from the Andhra Pradesh Disaster Management Authority reported that the storm is moving northwest at 10 km/h. It is currently 440 km from Chennai, 460 km from Puducherry, and 530 km from Nellore. The storm is expected to bring wind speeds of 40-60 km/h along the coast.
