In the early hours of Friday, Cyclone Dana made landfall in Odisha, causing heavy rainfall in parts of Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal. Over six lakh people were moved to safer locations, and airport services resumed with the first flight landing at 9 a.m.

Train Services Update
The Indian Railways announced that most trains would run as scheduled, except for those previously canceled. Trains from the south towards Bhubaneswar and Howrah will operate normally, while those from Kharagpur to Visakhapatnam will be received at Bhadrak Station.
