On Thursday, crude bombs were discovered in a house in Ward number 12 of Bhatpara Municipality, located in North 24 Parganas district, West Bengal. Upon receiving the information, the Bhatpara Police and Bomb Disposal Squad promptly arrived at the scene to take necessary security measures and safely dispose of the bombs.

Earlier on the same day, a suspicious bag was found near the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. Dog squads and bomb disposal teams were dispatched to the location after receiving the information.

Meanwhile, a team from the Enforcement Directorate conducted a search operation at the residence of Sandip Ghosh, the former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, located at Chinar Park in Kolkata.
