Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the importance of digital transformation in Dubai’s economic agenda, aiming to generate AED100 billion annually over the next decade. He noted that X Corp’s vision aligns with the UAE’s focus on AI and advanced technologies.

Dubai, with its 4,000 media and tech companies, offers a supportive environment for international businesses. It serves as a launchpad for new services and technological advancements.

X Corp, formerly Twitter, opened its first office in the Middle East and North Africa in Dubai in 2015. The region is one of the company’s largest markets, with 250 million daily active users as of mid-2024.

The meeting was also attended by Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications.
