In Bengaluru, Karnataka, CP Yogeshwara has rejoined the Congress party and is confident about winning the upcoming Channapatna bypoll. Yogeshwara, a former BJP leader and five-time MLA from Channapatna, expressed gratitude to DK Suresh for facilitating his return to Congress. The bypoll for Channapatna, a seat vacated by Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy, is scheduled for November 13, with results on November 23. The Congress has also announced candidates for other by-elections in Assam and Karnataka.
