Courtney Winfield-Hill Joins England Women as Assistant Coach

Former cricketer Courtney Winfield-Hill has been appointed as an assistant coach for the England Women’s cricket team. She will be part of the coaching team for the upcoming tour to South Africa and the 2025 Women’s Ashes.

Coaching Experience

Winfield-Hill, 37, is currently coaching with Brisbane Heat in the Women’s Big Bash League. She has previously been involved with the England Women coaching group during their tour to Ireland and worked with Trent Rockets in the Women’s Hundred. Her past roles include being a regional academy coach for Northern Diamonds and assistant coach for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Women’s Premier League, as well as England Women’s A and U19 squads.

Playing Career

As a player, Winfield-Hill, originally from Australia, was a pace bowler for Queensland Fire and Brisbane Heat.
