Court to Decide on Charges Against BRS Leader K Kavitha in Delhi Excise Policy Case

The Rouse Avenue court in New Delhi has reserved its order on the CBI’s charge sheet against BRS leader K Kavitha in the Delhi Excise Policy case. Special judge Kaveri Baweja will announce the decision on July 15.

CBI’s Special Public Prosecutor DP Singh presented evidence, including statements from TDP MP Magunta S Reddy and his son Raghav Magunta. Singh mentioned that the offence has already been acknowledged and that the charge sheet is for consideration and summoning of the accused.

This is the third supplementary charge sheet filed by the CBI in this case. K Kavitha is currently in judicial custody, having been arrested by both the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
