Corbett FC and Golazo FC Reach Quarter-Finals in AIFF Futsal Club Championship 2023-24

Vadodara (Gujarat) [India], July 1: Corbett FC and Golazo FC have secured their spots in the quarter-finals of the AIFF Futsal Club Championship 2023-24. The matches took place at the Swarnim Gujarat Sports University in Vadodara on Sunday.

Corbett FC Wins a Close Encounter

Corbett FC topped Group A with an 8-6 victory over Classic Football Academy. Malsawmtluanga Pautu scored four goals, PC Lalruatsanga netted a hattrick, and Shivam Yadav added the final goal. Despite a strong comeback from Classic FA, Corbett FC maintained control and finished their group stage with a perfect record of four wins.

Goal Hunterz FC Rout Satvir FC

Goal Hunterz FC defeated Satvir FC 10-1, keeping their quarter-final hopes alive. Sunny Shibu scored four goals, Manav Sharma added two, and Bijoy Gusai, Mukul Singh Shoun, Ansh Gupta, and Abhinav Devanand each scored one. Vinay Kumar scored a consolation goal for Satvir FC.

Ibrahim Ali Propels Speed Force FC

Speed Force FC won a thrilling 6-5 match against Guwahati City FC. Ibrahim Ali was the star, scoring five goals, while Mohammed Ahtesham Ali added one. Speed Force currently leads Group C but awaits the result of FC Thyristor’s match against Baroda FA to confirm their quarter-final spot.

Golazo FC Toy with JCT Football Academy

Golazo FC secured the top spot in Group D with a 5-0 win over JCT Football Academy. Stephen Satarkar scored twice, Jayesh Sutar added one, and two own goals from JCT FA sealed the victory. JCT FA now hopes for a win from Casa Barwani against Delhi FC to advance.
