Jharkhand’s Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Neha Arora, confirmed that an FIR was filed against Ansari for violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) with his remarks. Union Minister Annapurna Devi condemned Ansari’s statement, calling it a reflection of the Congress party’s mentality.

Sita Soren, a respected leader and BJP candidate from Jamtara, expressed her dismay and stated that the tribal community is angered by Ansari’s comments. She demanded an apology from Ansari and highlighted the need for change in the upcoming assembly elections.

BJP leaders, including Ragini Singh and Babulal Marandi, criticized the Congress party and called for Ansari’s removal from the government. They emphasized the importance of respecting women and ensuring their safety.

BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala accused Ansari of having a history of making offensive remarks and questioned the Congress party’s commitment to women’s rights. The BJP is contesting the Jharkhand assembly elections in alliance with other parties, aiming for significant change.
