New Delhi [India], September 22: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has appointed MK Bhardwaj and Bhanu Mahajan as acting working presidents of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee. This decision was announced in an official statement from the party.

Kharge also outlined several promises for Jammu and Kashmir, including a health insurance scheme providing Rs 25 lakh coverage per family, a monthly benefit of Rs 3,000 for women heads of families, and an interest-free loan of Rs 5 lakh for women. Additionally, he promised to ensure OBCs receive their constitutional rights and to fill 1 lakh vacant jobs immediately upon coming to power.
