New Delhi, India – Congress MP Manickam Tagore has given an adjournment motion notice in Lok Sabha, calling for a discussion on the alleged irregularities in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) and University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Tagore urged the House to suspend all listed business to discuss the ‘unprecedented cases of paper leaks’ and the failure of the NTA.

In the last session, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha saw several adjournments as Congress and other opposition parties demanded a debate on the NEET-UG controversy, while the government wanted to discuss the motion of thanks on the President’s address.

Meanwhile, Congress MP Manish Tewari has also given an adjournment motion notice in Lok Sabha, demanding a discussion on border clashes between India and China and India’s trade deficit with China. Tewari highlighted that China recently rejected the inauguration of the Seva tunnel and claimed parts of Arunachal Pradesh as its territory.
