Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Responds to KT Rama Rao’s Criticism of Rahul Gandhi

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], September 5: Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar addressed BRS working president KT Rama Rao’s remarks on Rahul Gandhi’s criticism of bulldozer justice. Kumar stated that KT Rama Rao’s comments were contradictory, as the Telangana government demolishes illegal buildings to protect the environment, unlike Uttar Pradesh’s approach, which the Supreme Court ruled against.

Speaking on Wednesday, Kumar explained that the Telangana government demolishes buildings to save people from climate change and illegal constructions, while in Uttar Pradesh, the government bulldozes houses of convicted individuals, which the Supreme Court opposed. He emphasized that comparisons should be realistic.

KT Rama Rao had posted on X, accusing Congress of hypocrisy for criticizing bulldozer justice in Uttar Pradesh while similar actions occur in Telangana under Congress rule. He questioned Congress’s power and accused them of double standards, stating that the people of Telangana deserve better.
