Congress Leader Supriya Shrinate Demands Justice for Murdered Schoolboy in Hathras

In Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, Congress leader Supriya Shrinate has called for strict action against those involved in the alleged murder of an eight-year-old school student. She expressed concern over the country’s regression in recent years.

Incident Details

According to the police, the boy was allegedly murdered on September 23 at the hostel of a private school in Hathras. Hathras Additional Superintendent of Police, Ashok Kumar Singh, stated that five people, including the school owner, have been arrested and sent to judicial custody.

Family’s Reaction

The victim’s family is devastated and has demanded severe punishment for the culprits. The boy’s mother, Kamlesh, called for a CBI inquiry and the hanging of the culprits. His father, Kishan Kushwaha, demanded a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to find the real reason behind the murder.

Official Actions

The Hathras Basic Education Officer has written a letter to register an FIR against Dinesh Baghel, the school director, for illegally running a residential school. Devendra Sharma, President of the UP Commission for Protection of Child Rights, expressed concern over the incident and emphasized the need to protect children’s rights.

Accused and Legal Proceedings

The accused have been identified as Ramprakash Solanki, Dinesh Baghel, Jashodhan Singh alias Bhagat ji, Laxman Singh, and Virpal Singh alias Viru. They have been booked under section 103(1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and sent to judicial custody.
