Congress Leader Pawan Khera Criticizes BJP’s Tactics and Calls for Accountability

New Delhi, India – Congress leader Pawan Khera launched a strong attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday, accusing them of spreading lies and editing videos of Rahul Gandhi over the past 10 years. Speaking at a press conference, Khera said, “We were defeated in 2014 and 2019. We introspected and learned, but the BJP, which is now losing in 2024, did not learn any lesson.”

Khera claimed that the BJP’s IT cell distorts Rahul Gandhi’s speeches within minutes of them being delivered. He also noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had to answer Rahul Gandhi in the Parliament, indicating a shift in the political landscape.

Khera criticized Modi for avoiding questions on important issues like NEET, inflation, and petrol prices by hiding behind nationalism, the military, and religion. He emphasized that dictatorship does not work in a democracy and that the BJP’s tactics will no longer be tolerated.

He pointed out that Hindus have awakened, citing election results in Ayodhya and Varanasi, and demanded answers from the Prime Minister on various issues affecting the nation.

Earlier, during the motion of thanks to the President’s address, Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP-led government of systematically attacking the idea of India and the Constitution. He claimed that many leaders who resisted this were personally attacked and some are still in jail.

Gandhi also introduced the Hindu symbol ‘Abhayamudra’ as the symbol of the Congress party, representing fearlessness and reassurance. He criticized those who call themselves Hindu but promote violence and hatred.

BJP members strongly objected to Gandhi’s remarks, accusing him of insulting the Hindu religion by associating it with violence.
